The Archives: Volume I

i'm taking you back and giving some of my faves from the past. all for you. don't judge. ok gfy.

backstreet boys / drowning (dezrok edit)
this is my karaoke standard. sometimes when i'm drunk i think i can perform all five harmonies at once. perhaps one day you'll be lucky enough to hear that trainwreck.

tamia / officially missing you / rizzo edit
just a good song. voice is beautiful. mix is smooth. good shower singing.

soul decision / faded / green 22 club edit
don't act like you don't know AND love this song. while they are now long gone, this little drunk singing gem lives on. "kinda faded but i feel alright...feel like makin my move tonight"

nicole / one good reason / dezrok edit
bitchy bitchy bitchy. always fun.

carlos vives / fruta fresca / pablo flores edit
i have no idea what this song is about beyond fresh fruit. but carlos vives is caliente. and the song is good too.

freeze

just discovered this from the uk dj bimbo jones - apparently its been out for awhile and just remixed for 2009 again. good vocals, great beat - an ol' reliable that will make its way into my standard getting ready playlist. get it.

ricky's grab bag of love

just a couple of songs to broaden your horizons. again, ricky is irrelevant. just for ambiance.

roison murphy meets the crookers...

...two random ladies from the UK...

...and before there was slutty kesha, there was megan mccauley.

enjoy!
